Kia Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, officially introduced the all-new Kia PV5 Cargo at the 14th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. Engineered as a purpose-built EV solution for commercial logistics, the PV5 Cargo van combines heavy-duty capacity, long-range battery efficiency, and award-winning design into a complete operational package for local enterprises.

The new Kia PV5 Cargo, recognized globally as the 2026 International Van of the Year, combines a clean, modern design with commercial-vehicle capability. It features sleek, integrated LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED rear-combination taillights, plus 16-inch steel wheels with wheel caps. The PV5 Cargo is built on Kia’s dedicated EV platform, giving it compact dimensions measuring 4,695 mm long, 1,895 mm wide, and 1,905mm high. Combined with a 2,995 mm wheelbase, this allows for easy navigation through tight urban streets and narrow loading docks. Inside, the PV5 Cargo carries up to 805 kg across a 4,420-liter cargo bay measuring 2,255 mm long, 1,565 mm wide, and 1,520 mm high. Dual-swing rear doors and a low loading height streamline worksite operations, while eight heavy-duty tie-down hooks and universal L-track mounting points ensure cargo is safely secured.

The Kia PV5 Cargo is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor which delivers 163 PS and 250 Nm of torque. Energy is supplied by a 51.5 kWh NMC battery, which Press Release provides a single-charge range of up to 384 kilometers (NEDC), to service the daily distribution requirement within Metro Manila and its surrounding provinces. The PV5 Cargo is designed for efficient operations, featuring rapid DC fast charging (CCS2 port) that replenishes the battery from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes via a 350 kW charger. For regular overnight or office-based recharges, standard AC charging (Type 2 port) powers the battery from 10% to 80% in 4 hours and 45 minutes using an 11 kW wallbox. Expanding beyond transit, the PV5 doubles as an on-site power station through its integrated Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology. By drawing energy from its high-voltage battery, the van can export up to 3.6 kW of electric power to run tools, lights, and equipment directly at remote work sites.

Positioned as an accessible entry point for commercial electrification, the all-new Kia PV5 Cargo is priced at Php 2,098,000 and offered in exterior colors including Snow White Pearl, Steel Grey, and Aurora Black Pearl. Fleet reservations are now open nationwide at all Kia dealerships as of October 22, 2026.
