Xpeng hit a major milestone in October, blowing past 50,000 monthly deliveries for the first time in its history. Bolstered by an aggressive overseas push ahead of the fourth quarter, the Chinese electric vehicle maker announced on Sunday a record-breaking 50,237 vehicle deliveries for the month. According to data compiled by CnEVPost, that represents a 19.57% jump compared to the same period last year, and a sharp 21.77% climb from September. Xpeng’s year-to-date total over the first ten months now stands at 334,604 vehicles. While that cumulative figure is still down 5.80% year-on-year, it shows significant recovery; the company successfully narrowed what had been a steeper 9.20% year-on-year decline just a month earlier.

The EV maker reported a blockbuster month abroad, with international deliveries skyrocketing 166% year-on-year to hit a record 13,326 vehicles in October. That is a 32.53% leap from September alone. More importantly, it means international shipments now command over a quarter of Xpeng’s total global output—edging up to 26.53% from the previous month’s share. With international markets absorbing a massive chunk of supply, Xpeng still managed to move 36,911 vehicles within China. That marks its strongest domestic performance in an entire year, proving the brand is firing on all cylinders both at home and abroad.

The company officially launched its new Mona L05 crossover in China on October 29, kicking off nationwide deliveries just a few days later on November 1. Consumer demand was immediate and overwhelming. In fact, a specialized batch of 5,000 launch-ready vehicles vanished in a jaw-dropping three minutes. This explosive reception brings cumulative deliveries for the entire Mona family past the 360,000-unit milestone—an impressive feat for a lineup that debuted only two years ago. Global export shipments of the Mona L05 actually got underway on October 26, slightly ahead of the domestic launch. With a master rollout plan spanning 65 countries and regions, the electric vehicle maker is actively turning its newest crossover into a worldwide vanguard for overseas market share.
